Mahon is a semi-hard, salty, and nutty cheese from the Spanish Island Menorca in the Mediterranean Sea. It is often referred to as the Parmesan cheese of Spain because of its sharp flavor. We love to grate this cheese over pizzas and if you want to make the best mac and cheese ever we suggest adding it to your pastas. We also like to pair it with other soft Spanish cheeses like Manchego for an authentic Spanish cheese board.
